The technical concept
With the Evolution², in place of the existing model ranges 1000, 3000, 5000 and 6000, now “only” platforms 1, 4 and 6 will be offered. Depending on the model, these cover clamping and grinding lengths from 150 - 2,000 mm. JUNKER first unveiled platform 6 – the first generation of its Evolution² modular machine concept – at the EMO 2005. Today, platforms 1 and 4 are also a technical reality. The JUMAT, QUICKPOINT, JUCRANK and JUCAM series are gradually being migrated to these three platforms. |

The further procedure
And JUNKER is going one step further than with its existing machine sizes: soon there is going to be a platform 8 as well. This means that, in future, it will be possible to process very large work pieces using an appropriate machine format – and all to JUNKER’s unique quality standards, of course. |

A move towards increased cost-effectiveness
The new JUNKER machine concept helps reduce many costs which the operator faces during the lifecycle of a grinding machine. With the Evolution², the standardisation of sub assemblies, for example, and the use of identical parts provides interesting perspectives. There are areas where this is an advantage: optimised planning, increased productivity, reduced operating costs and future integration. |
