JUNKER Group: Partner for precision at the AMB 2016

The JUNKER Group will be exhibiting at the International Exhibition for Metalworking (AMB) – September 13 - 17, 2016 in Stuttgart, Germany – showcasing new technologies from the JUNKER, ZEMA and LTA brands at Booth 8C73 in Hall 8: JUNKER will be demonstrating grinding operations on tool blanks, ZEMA will be presenting a cylindrical grinding machine for shaft grinding and LTA will round out the Group’s presentation with a range of innovative filtration solutions.

High-speed cylindrical grinding

The JUNKER Lean Selection speed is able to realize several grinding operations on tool blanks in a single clamping set-up. One or two high-performance grinding spindles, mounted at the swivel-action wheelhead (B axis), work using the QUICKPOINT grinding method. An integrated loading system ensures short loading times.

First-class shaft grinding

Live at the booth, ZEMA will be demonstrating the grinding process on the rotor shaft of an electric motor using their NUMERIKA GH 1000. This durable cylindrical grinding machine, with its hydrostatic X and Z axis and hydrostatically mounted grinding spindle, is also ideally suited for grinding an array of other workpieces for the automotive industry such as crank, cardan or transmission shafts. In addition, the operating element of the NUMERIKA GH 1000 is extremely simple and convenient to use.

Clean air pays dividends

Filtration solution specialist LTA Lufttechnik GmbH will be at the booth demonstrating the separation of oil/emulsion mist and fume particles using electrostatic and mechanical filter models, in addition to explaining the possible application of safety / fire protection components and the associated pipe systems.
LTA will also be showcasing its entry-level model for filtration technology, the BASIC Line. Despite the simplicity of its design, this system packs an impressive punch in terms of suction capacity.
