Simon Schnaiter: Service Technician at Erwin Junker Maschinenfabrik GmbH

An interview with: Simon Schnaiter

What is your objective with regard to an assembly or service assignment?

First and foremost, that the customer is satisfied, and their wishes and requirements are met. I am delighted every time this happens and it makes me proud when our customers put their trust in JUNKER's quality and efficiency.

"Our grinding machines are versatile and precise"

What are some of the unique selling points of the grinding machines from JUNKER...

The innovative grinding machines from JUNKER impress with their versatility and precision. For example, they are easy to set up and retool and, as a result, guarantee flexible adaptation to the individual requirements. The high-speed grinding machines appeal to customers thanks to a sophisticated overall concept, a high level of productivity and the latest in technology.

Why do you enjoy working at JUNKER?

Working as a service technician is extremely varied. Each assembly assignment is individual, since they may vary from the concepts and solutions, individual or complete machining operations in a single clamping setup, right through to complex production lines. Cooperation in the team and the support provided by departments with which I am often in contact, for example, our Service department, is always very pleasant.

What is offered to you?

By working independently on the assembly assignments, I have considerable design freedom, which is important to me personally. In addition to my remuneration, I receive assembly pay for assembly assignments and overtime pay or compensation.

Three words to describe the 60th anniversary of the company...

Efficient, flexible, precise
