Today, humanoid robots represent one of the company’s most dynamic growth markets. JUNKER machines are used in the production of highly precise drive components for robotic systems. The growing demand for backup power solutions in international data centers also creates new opportunities. Large engines used for these applications require crankshafts, camshafts, and transmission components to be ground with the utmost accuracy—an area where JUNKER’s grinding technologies excel. In addition, the company develops solutions for applications in the aerospace industry.

Wherever maximum precision, process reliability, and efficiency are required, demand for specialized grinding technologies continues to grow. Automation has played a central role at JUNKER for many years. With 1,100 people employees worldwide, the JUNKER Group generates annual revenue of between €170 million and €190 million. In addition to its headquarters in Nordrach, the company maintains an international network of subsidiaries and production facilities. One of its key strategic decisions was made in the 1990s, when company founder Erwin Junker integrated production sites in the Czech Republic into the group. To this day, many machines are manufactured and pre-assembled there. This international structure plays a major role in safeguarding the company’s long-term competitiveness. At the same time, JUNKER remains firmly committed to the principle of “Engineering in Germany.” Decades of experience, technical expertise, and highly skilled employees form the basis of the exceptional quality of its products.
