Anniversary in China

Thanks to the commitment of the employees of the Representative Office Shanghai and the JUNKER Group headquarters, over 1000 machines have already been sold in China so far. JUNKER technologies benefit from an excellent reputation in China, and have already received numerous awards from high-profile customers, including well-known automotive manufacturers and their suppliers.

For many years, JUNKER has been the market leader in China for camshaft and crankshaft grinding. And since the introduction of DCT transmissions in 2014, JUNKER has won the majority of orders in this market segment. JUNKER is also well equipped to adapt to the current transition to electromobility in China, and has already secured major orders.

The Representative Office Shanghai is primarily responsible for the sales of JUNKER Group products, and provides the full customer service throughout China. The complete installation and setup of the machines are performed by the employees of Erwin Junker Machinery (Shanghai). In addition, Chinese service technicians and German specialists work together on machine upgrades, retrofits, conversions, maintenance, repairs and relocations. The JUNKER spare parts warehouse in Shanghai guarantees a fast and reliable local service.

How long have you worked at JUNKER?

On July 1st 2008, I walked through the door of the Representative Office in Shanghai and started my first day at JUNKER, and the first day of my career. Although I was born less than 130 km from Shanghai, it was my first time in the city. With so many firsts, it's a date I'll never forget. In a dynamic economy where it's common for people to change jobs every two to three years, I decided to stay with JUNKER and build a career there. This year, I will celebrate my 15th anniversary at JUNKER.
