Active protection in schools – with the Virus Cleaner VC 60

Nordrach primary school fully equipped with the VC 60

Since December 9th, all classrooms in Nordrachs Primary School have been equipped with the Virus Cleaner VC 60 air purifier. Thanks to active filtering of the room air, this air purifier offers an additional protective measure to ensure the well-being of all pupils and teachers.

Since 9th December, all classrooms in Nordrach Primary School have been equipped with the Virus Cleaner VC 60 air purifier made by LTA Lufttechnik GmbH. These air purifiers are ideal for offering confidence, safety and additional protection in classrooms and common rooms. The result is a pleasant and healthy room climate. Independent institutes have confirmed that aerosols in the size range of 0.1 µm to 1 µm are reduced by up to 99.992% and coronaviruses are reduced by over 99.99%. While the VC 60 unit is operating, no ozone has been shown to be present at the air exit.

A unit has been used for a few weeks in the largest classroom as a test. Ms Großmann, Head Teacher of the primary school, reported the initial experiences with the air purifier last week and confirmed that, thanks to the VC 60, the air felt different and cleaner. It was also noted that the number of cases of respiratory problems that would have otherwise occurred significantly declined.

Isabelle Mansoux (member of the executive committee at the JUNKER Group) is proud of the positive feedback regarding the Virus Cleaner VC 60. "As experts in filter solutions, it is important to us to be able to provide children, teachers, employees, as well as customers and partners, with an additional protective measure and to therefore make our own contribution to the well-being of everybody." For this reason, Erwin Junker Maschinenfabrik GmbH is donating an additional three Virus Cleaner VC 60 units to the primary school. Equipping the school with the air purifiers is an important protective measure for the well-being of both children and teachers. The news reached Nordrach's mayor, Carsten Erhardt, on St. Nicholas Day. Carsten Erhardt reports that the community, thanks to the approved subsidies from the state of Baden-Württemberg, was just about to order four air purifiers for the school. That Erwin Junker Maschinenfabrik GmbH has come forward before this is, great news to him.

The social commitment within the community of Nordrach is a matter that is dear to the heart of Erwin Junker Maschinenfabrik GmbH. The three additional air purifiers were therefore personally presented to Nordrach Primary School by Isabelle Mansoux (Managing Director at LTA Lufttechnik GmbH) and Jürgen Kälble (Managing Director at LTA Lufttechnik GmbH) on 9th December, 2020.
