The JUNKER Group at EMO 2023

The world of grinding

Innovative and pioneering solutions – the JUNKER Group, with its JUNKER, LTA and ZEMA brands, will showcase its extensive product range at EMO in Hanover, Germany, from September 18th to 23rd 2023. We‘ll present the latest grinding technologies from JUNKER and ZEMA, as well as efficient filtration systems from LTA in Hall 11, Booth E52.

Unbeatable cycle time for complete worm shaft grinding process

The high-speed grinding machine JUMAT 2000 grinds single-start and multi-start worm shaft profiles from blank. The electroplated profile grinding, which is used for pre-grinding, enables a high cutting capacity and is ideal to process both soft and hard materials. During the subsequent finish-grinding with corundum, the gears are finalized. Thanks to the geometry calculation of the single-tooth grinding wheel, the grinding medium is perfectly designed for the thread profile of the workpiece.

If the worm shaft has specific surface requirements, a second grinding spindle with an additional polishing wheel is used. This three-stage process with an integrated deburring station facilitates the production of finished worm shafts in a single clamping process.

Baden-Württemberg Environment Technology Prize – JUMAT receives special award for the manufacture of worm shafts.

Efficient grinding of ball screw nuts

Quality, cycle time, availability – the JUMAT external and internal cylindrical grinding machine has it all. The internal thread of ball screw nuts is pre-ground and finish-ground with a ceramically bonded grinding wheel in a single clamping process. The use of internal cylindrical grinding enables a high precision grinding of the ball track.

Fast workpiece change overtimes are achieved through the use of two workpiece spindles and downtime are reduced by cycle-time-neutral loading and unloading, including radial pre-alignment.

Your partner for precision

The specialists at JUNKER and ZEMA develop and produce concepts and solutions for single or complete machining operations, from a single clamping process to complex production lines. All workpiece geometries and sizes can be ground on JUNKER Group grinding machines. The well-known variety of our standard machines is complemented by intelligent, customized solutions and versatile equipment options. As a complete supplier, the JUNKER Group supplies interlinked automation tools, application-based software developments, and the latest digital solutions.

Come and see us at the EMO 2023 for a live demo of both grinding machines for machining worm shafts and ball screw nuts.

The future of air filtration

Filtration systems by LTA for extracting and purification of coolant mist ensure efficient and sustainable purification of the air in metal industry production facilities. Dust filters, piping systems, fire protection systems, and central extraction systems complete the all-round support provided by this clean air specialist.

We look forward to seeing you there.
