Company History

1953

Mr. Zselics founded the mechanical workshop São José for the production of mechanical parts, assemblies and devices for other companies

1962

The company name changed to Zselics & Cia., an operating machine factory, starting the manufacturing of the Zema milling machine

1968

Always working in the mechanical construction sector started production of universal milling machines and parallel lathes, totaling approximately 4,000 machines scattered throughout Brazil

1972

A major expansion occurred when the company was moved to Riacho Grande in São Bernardo do Campo, SP in an land area of 280,000 sq.m, in a covered area of 10,000 sq.m

1979

The company has expanded its product range to produce a line of surface grinding machines and internal cylindrical with Know-how acquired a traditional European company

1982

Launch of Numerika External cylindrical CNC Grinding line

1988

Creating Retrofitting Division

1990

Development of specific grinding machine for heavy Crankshafts

1990

It is the beginning of the first exports to Europe and USA

1994

Began to be exported the first grinding machines for: USA, ITALY, FRANCE and CANADA

1999

Supply a series of machines to grinding of Injection Nozzle with high level of automation

2001

Launch a new line machines, Futura, Pratika, Intertronika

2003

Zema - 50 years

2004

ISO 9001 – 2000 certification

2010

Supply a grinding machine with double (B axis) to grinding tungsten carbide parts

Qualified majority in Zema Zselics Ltda., Brasil

Further development of the KARGO series for flexible machining of medium and heavy workpieces
