The JUCRANK 8L grinding machine completes all grinding tasks on crankshafts with a swing diameter of up to 18.5 inches and a clamping length of up to 15.8 feet. Maximum accuracy and quick cycle times are achieved in a single clamping set-up and through the productive machine concept and state-of-art grinding technology.

The JUCRANK 8L was manufactured in Europe and, after a successful run-off, was delivered to Caterpillar Lafayette Engine Center in Indiana (USA) at the end of July 2023. Delivering the machine was a major milestone for JUNKER, as it weighs over 155,000 lbs (70 tons). A special convoy was organized, and JUNKER specialists worked with the local authorities to ensure the machine was delivered safely.

To ensure a smooth unloading of the machine off the truck, a JUNKER technician was also on site to supervise the operations and offer the best support to our customers.
