JUNKER and LTA honor employee work anniversaries

Record-breaking 1820 years of service

JUNKER and LTA honored 78 employees celebrating work anniversaries that combine into an impressive 1820 years of service for their achievements, commitment and the passion which they have brought to the company as well as their loyalty and strong bond with the company. These long-serving employees have significantly contributed to the company's success.

A record-breaking number of employees are celebrating their work anniversary at Erwin Junker Maschinenfabrik GmbH this year. The 78 employees have achieved an impressive 1820 combined years of service. They were duly honored during a celebration at the company's inn Gasthaus Stube on October 1, 2021.

"The relationship between employees and owners is much closer and more informal at owner-managed companies than at large corporations," emphasized Managing Director Dr. Karsten Schaumann, whose responsibilities include personnel management, and who conducted the ceremony together with Managing Director Joachim Himmelsbach.

In addition to the many years of loyalty and the strong bond with the company, both managing directors jointly honored the achievements, commitment and the passion which the employees have brought to the company founded in 1962, thereby contributing to its success. The managing directors recalled several highlights from the last 45 years of the company's history during their speech. These included the invention of the QUICKPOINT technology, the acquisition of plants in the Czech Republic and the company's global expansion with the establishment of subsidiaries in the USA, China, India, Brazil, Russia and Turkey. In 2016, Erwin Junker founded the Fabrikant-Erwin-Junker-Stiftung foundation. The year 2022 will see another highlight in the company's history with its 60th anniversary.

Both managing directors were optimistic that the JUNKER Group would continue its history of success into the future. One of the strengths of the family business listed by Dr. Schaumann was the forward-thinking, innovative and sustainable management. With their many years of experience, their expertise and their loyalty, the employees also significantly contribute to shaping the company's successful future.

Franz-Josef Baumann, the Chairman of the Works Council, emphasized the tremendous innovative power of Erwin Junker Maschinenfabrik GmbH, which has now enjoyed success for 59 years. "JUNKER is a strong company with a global presence. But we can only be strong with a strong team," the Chairman of the Works Council emphasized, adding: "Our long-serving colleagues are the constant we can rely on. They are experienced with our products and know exactly how things work around here." He also thanked the employees celebrating anniversaries for their loyalty and commitment to the company, as well as the great experience they contribute to its success.

The management duo, who jointly moderated the celebration, awarded the employees company certificates, IHK certificates and honorary certificates from the State of Baden-Württemberg. Each employee also received a gift basket of Käfer products and everyone expressed their appreciation for the many long-serving employees, including the five employees retiring this year – in some cases after being with the company for more than 40 years.
