To meet the growing demand for systems for carrying out double-wheel surface grinding on larger workpieces, JUNKER has strategically expanded the range of applications of the new SATURN. The machine is ideal for grinding connecting rods but is also suitable for processing large rings and gearwheels.
The SATURN 915 is designed for a maximum workpiece diameter of 320 mm (connecting rod – max. 400 mm long) and uses corundum as the abrasive.
Highlights include the high output, the option of automatic loading and unloading, automatic measurement control and the long workpiece service lives.
