From April 15-20, 2019, the JUNKER Group, consisting of JUNKER, LTA, and ZEMA, will be exhibiting at the CIMT in Beijing. The new centerless grinding machine JUPITER 200S as well as the GRINDSTAR machine - an innovative concept which replaces turning processes with high-speed plunge-cut grinding - will be presented live for the first time on the Chinese market.
JUPITER 200S: Centerless grinding process for professionals
The ability to machine a range of completely different materials: It might sound extraordinary, but the JUPITER 200S – the evolution of the JUPITER 200 – makes it possible. The grinding machine moves from steel to carbide – with maximum precision. In addition to diameters, shoulders and faces can be ground to a high standard of precision and reproduction accuracy due to the inclined position of the wheel head at 10°. The JUNKER software tool, the CNC height adjustment of the work rest blade and the CNC-controlled workpiece stop all help to optimize the grinding process.
GRINDSTAR: Grinding replaces turning in series production
The GRINDSTAR’s innovative grinding process replaces the turning process with dressing-free, high-speed plunge-cut grinding, allowing workpieces to be machined more quickly. It can be used both with CBN and diamond as an abrasive. This can open up enormous potential for savings, in particular when working with large production volumes.
With GRINDSTAR, JUNKER is offering far more than just a grinding machine. Every machine is precisely adapted to the specific needs of each customer. The entire production process, from profiling through coating the grinding wheels to the individual machine settings, is planned by JUNKER. As bar stock can be machined directly, it also results in a major cost advantage and low-manpower production. The machine is equipped with innovative coolant technology which helps to extend tool life. Machine availability is more than 96 %.
Filtration systems make the perfect addition
JUNKER Group member, LTA Lufttechnik GmbH, will also be exhibiting at the JUNKER booth. An expert partner in fire protection and filtration solutions, the company offers both large filtration solutions and compact filter systems and will be showcasing the Basic Line 01 and 01 Solid at the CIMT. These enable cooling lubricant to be cleaned and extracted directly at the machine. The AC 3002 CIP electrostatic air filter will also be on display. This is a particularly ecological filter: only regenerative filter elements which can be cleaned as many times as desired using an automatic flushing process – without the use of any chemical additives or diluted solutions – are used.
